I inherited a unique collection of beer bottles still in it's original form (never opened) from many countries around the world dating from the 1950's until the early 1980's by a retired military sargent. There are 256 pieces to this collection. It has been sitting in my living room for years because I have no idea of it's value or what to do with it. I just obtained an original Blatz cast iron metal figurine that weighs 6 1/2 pounds and is 16 inches tall and it stands on one leg on a metal base that is 7 inches wide but is 4 1/2 inches on wide on one side and narrows to 3/12 inches on the other end of the base. He is carrying a beer mug that swivels on a small tray in his left hand and has a white cloth over his right wrist with his thumb sticking up. His body is a Blastz beer bottle and his arms and legs are red color. The paint has come off in some places more so on the backside. The label on the bottle says 1952. I was told this was placed on bar tables in the Milwaukee area in the 50's? Is this worth anything?   photo (if posted)

I have a hand painted Budweiser Clydesdale globe. It is a little bit bigger than a softball and has the clydesdales pulling the bud wagon. It is completely hand painted and sits on a small holder. 1 unopened Burgie Beer bottle. The bottle is a creamy white color. Silkscreened on the bottle itself in blue it says Burgermeister and has a picture of a man in a hat with a beer stein. In the lower right hand corner it has a Burgie Beer mark. On the lower left hand side it says Theodore Hamm Company. On the back of the bottle it says "Famous Burgermeister Cities" and has a crest with San Francisco written across it and a picture of the Golden Gate bridge and a Cable Car. Underneath that is says "One of a Series". I did find out that this company brewed in San Francisco around 1972-1975 and that Burgermeister means "Town Mayor" Again, the bottle is unopened. The bottle cap is faded gold colored with a faded gold "B" on a blue background. There are no cracks or chips on the bottle.Container made by "ceramarte LTD" of brazil.   photo (if posted)

I got a bottle of budweiser, purchased in may of 2008. When I was finished it I realized that there was an old label underneath the budweiser label. It's hard to make out but I think it was brewed in Montreal, that's about all I can make out. It's faded and hard to read. If anybody has any info on this kind of stuff could they fill me in. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the value of this case of empty beer bottles that I had in my closet. They are Budweiser 7oz bottles. They were called splits and the case contained 34 returnable bottles. The case is in great shape and all but one of the bottles is in the case. I found an old beer bottle believed to be German and dated around 1911. It has an RG on the bottom of the bottle and has a crystal made in the neck of the bottle to keep someone from chugging the beer. The neck of the bottle is shaped so that when you turn the bottle up to far it will cut off the liquid from coming out.   photo (if posted)

Does anyone know if Schlitz or other breweries made N/A beer during prohibition? I have a very old bottle of Schlitz and in the upper left hand corner says"Does not contain half of one percent alcohol by volume" This beer was in my attic my whole life...never looked at the fine print. I have Grolsch Holland Beer Gift Pack. Contents are- 2 swingtop bottles 16oz., 1 12 oz. bottle, 2 decks of playing cards, 1 bottle opener, 6 coasters, 2 mugs and 1 brochure. I think it is from 1985. This has been passed down to me from my grandpa. The box shows some wear but everything in side is still new unopened. I have an old Blatz Beer Bottle I found over 35 years ago. Kept it all these years, sorta interested if any info on it? Clear, 7 1/2 oz. embossed and decorative lines all around outside of bottle top to bottom, has Blatz logo on front in writing and on back has 6 sided star what looks like VB insignia and hops and grains picture inside star. I found an old bottle on the beach. It's light blue and has the letters GBS in the center and Gottlieb BauernSchmidt Strauss Brewing Company around them. It has Baltimore,MD below them. I used to work in a very well known hotel around 10 years ago. While a few of my friends (who were engineers were working in the belly of the hotel, came across a very unique beer bottle. It lookes like a german man in lederhosin (sorry sp)in a yellowish green bottle. It's still full and capped. I can not find any information on it, I know I have had it in my possesion for 20 years. I have a bottle made by samuel adams called "millenium".This was made for the year 2000 milleniume. There was only 300 bottles made,not al states got them because the alc. content is 25%.It came in a wooden box signed and number by the owner of samuel adams.Bottle number is in the 2000's. Top is dipped in wax, never opened and i paid $500 for this . I would imagine it is very rare to find one unopened. I know in 2000 the first bottle sold on ebay or yahoo for $5000. I have up for sale a newly purchased Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) can of beer that is unopened but is only filled to about 1/4 of the way up. Obviously, this has to be a factory mistake and happens once in a blue moon. I have checked the can for possible leaks or any other structural faults that would allow the contents to leak out and there are none to be had. The can is completely sealed with only 1/4 or so of the Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer originally intended in the can. There is a small dent on the bottom of the can that is extremely miniscule in nature, but the can shows no other structural damage. Please feel free to email me with any questions or pic requests. i have a san miguel beer bottle from one of the towns here in the Philippines. this place was used to be an officer's row(of some sort) of the american forces during the world war. there is no more paint in the bottle but the emboss name on the bottle is still intact. is there a catalog of the bottles made by san miguel in order for me to at least verify the exact era of the bottle.
